Centro Espigas Foundation

In November 2023, Centro Espigas Foundation started managing the projects previously handled by the Asociación Civil Centro Espigas. This foundation was created in 2022 and is integrated by the same members than the Asociación Civil and received all the Association’s assets. This change was approved by INAU (Uruguayan Institute for Child and Youth) without altering its relationship with Centro Espigas, nor how CAIF and Children’s Club are managed. Simiente Project remains under the exclusive management and funding of Fundación Retoño.

The Direction Team determines Centro Espigas’ guidelines, leads the educational programs and is responsible for managing its human resources. It also develops the operational plan and the year’s agenda, among other tasks.
This team is composed by the institution’s Director, the Coordinators of each educational program and the Accountant. They have weekly meetings to manage the institution’s operation in a coordinated manner.
